Along with its reduced bulk, streamlined cut and wear-resistant technology, INNOTEX® ENERGY™ high-performance turnout gear offers some of the industry’s most innovative engineering, as well as a number of patented, proprietary features designed specifically to elevate firefighters’ performance, comfort and safety.
Airflow™
The patented INNOTEX® AIRFLOW™ 3D padding system is a fixed liner attached to the turnout coat. Constructed of lightweight closed-cell foam and Kevlar® mesh, the system prevents heat being trapped between the firefighter’s back and the SCBA.
Gray Protection
The INNOTEX® GRAY™ particulate-blocking interface package helps impede the entry of toxic particulates at five critical points. Its built-in particulate barrier made with a Stedair® PREVENT or DuPont™ Nomex® Nano barrier, acts as a filter, blocking more than 99.8% of particulates while allowing clean air to flow through.
